Museum Newsy Links

The first of today’s “Museum Newsy Links” corresponds to an article I read yesterday in ArtNet online magazine, which discuses who should be to blame for the financial mismanagement, poor investments, and excessive building projects that are supposedly fueling the current depressive state of many museums and the popping of what the article calls the “museum bubble.”

“Are Museum Directors Paid Too Much” caught my attention today, as I discussed this study a couple days ago on MJ Writes. The final link is an opinion piece on from Jeremy Gerard who discusses the new NEA chairman and laments his use of the economic argument for the support of the arts.
